It was time for bed tonight and Sawyer would have none of it. We were busy signing Mother's Day cards for everybody and I asked him to go put on his pajamas & brush his teeth. THREE TIMES. The third time he came down in yet another pair of regular shorts that just weren't for sleeping. I looked at him, and said "Sawyer for the love of all that is holy, go put some pajamas on!!" I then pulled his shorts down and told him to "GO now!!" He just looks at me as says "Mom--you pants me!!" I crumbled of course into a heap of laughter as did Tanner & Chad. Needless to say, that made my day and I am glad the evening ended on a lighter note. Now I just hope that tomorrow does not have any "pantsing" episodes at school. I will delete the mental image, and pray for the best!!
The son of a really good friend of mine received the Priesthood today. We went to their ward instead of ours today so we could be a part of it. Chad got to help with the setting apart and I got to cry like a baby because he & his little sister are just like one of my own. It was a great experience. On the drive home, Sawyer announced that he wanted the Priesthood "RIGHT NOW" and declared to everyone that he was not going to wait. If you could have seen his face-- it was priceless.

So great. Now you just wait for the school to call. Sawyer pants somebody at school today.
I have no idea where he would've gotten such an idea from but rest assured he will be properly disciplined.
Man, kids can burn you so bad sometimes. Mine get me by repeating my words at the worst moments.
My two boys were talking about turning 12 the other day and Bug, 4, said, "That's when you get to do the Priesthood!"
