Utter Chaos

I'm thinking that we are falling apart since we moved to Japan. We have been sick more the past three months than we have ever been I think. A couple of weeks ago, Chad & I were blissfully sleeping when Sawyer came into our room around 4am screaming bloody murder. Freaked us right out. He kept screaming & puking & screaming & puking begging us to take him to the doctor. For those of you who know Sawyer, he is not a big fan of doctors. So, the fact that he was basically trying to pull us both out the door in our pajamas was a warning sign. We finally get to the ER, which is on Camp Foster about 25-30 minutes away, and the doctors think it is his appendix. They did all these tests and didn't find anything. They ended up doing a CT scan which showed everything with his appendix was fine. We did get a shock when they found a cyst in his bladder and swollen kidney tubes. They suspect Kidney Reflux, which is when the tubes of the kidneys are too full and the urine (ew) gets kicked back into the kidneys. We have been to the doctors quite a bit the past few weeks, everyday last week. I am sick of appointments. We are waiting for just a few more tests and a follow up to the Urologist & we will have more info. We do know that the cyst will need to be removed. They are going to fly us to Hawaii to have that done. Our follow up with the Urologist on the island is on the 15th of April so I will keep everyone posted. Please keep us in your prayers. We miss you all!!

Bubble

I have decided to go live in a bubble. I am going to call said bubble, Bubble ala Alli. I think I will like it there. If anyone wants to visit, feel free. A bubble sounds so good right about now!!

Happy Feet

Yesterday, Christy, Miranda & I went to Cocok's by the sea wall for a pedicure in honor of Christy's birthday. I just have to say, this was the BEST pedicure I have ever had. My feet were in heaven. There was the biggest book of different things you could get painted on your toes. It took me forever to decide on the cherries and polka dots. It was the perfect day!!

Loved

Today I am loved. Sawyer said to me, "Mommy, I love you like a cookie". It doesn't get much better than a cookie.

Nappitizers..............

Today, Chad & I went on a much needed date. We went to Camp Shields, the Navy base here, to the only restaurant they have on the base, called Naps. It is southern cooking & we have been there before & we actually like it. Tonight, our server was this little old Japanese lady who brought us two six packs of condiment bottles, like BBQ sauce, ketchup, stuff like that. She was seriously like 200 years old with the cutest smile. We loved her. Anywho, we decided to order some nachos for an appetizer since I am addicted to the things. What we got was something I had never seen before. There were corn chips, thank goodness and lots of other interesting things on them. For starters, there were pork & beans on them. I kid you not. There was also some sweet & sour sauce, ranch, tomatoes, onions & weird tasting chicken. I could not even eat it and just looked at it laughing as Chad dug in. It was really quite nasty. I am at a loss as to which country it belongs to, the south or Japan. The Japanese love mayo. They put it on their pizza here and a hot dog is revered! They put them on pizza & salads, everything. We ended up going to see the movie Street Fighter, you know me & my fighting movies; love them. It was a good show!! HOORAH for date nights!!

The Sea Wall

We went to explore the sea wall near out house last week. Here are some pictures. Hope you enjoy them!!

The bathrooms there. They made me laugh so hard, I had to take a picture of them!! Nice eh?

My boys. Are they handsome or what??

Tanner in deep thought!

They had this huge jungle gym out of rope there. The boys were in heaven climbing all the way to the top.

The actual sea wall. There is graffiti all down the wall itself, but it legal graffiti so it is all OK. It is actually quite awesome to see. This is one of my favorites.
