Nappitizers..............

Today, Chad & I went on a much needed date. We went to Camp Shields, the Navy base here, to the only restaurant they have on the base, called Naps. It is southern cooking & we have been there before & we actually like it. Tonight, our server was this little old Japanese lady who brought us two six packs of condiment bottles, like BBQ sauce, ketchup, stuff like that. She was seriously like 200 years old with the cutest smile. We loved her. Anywho, we decided to order some nachos for an appetizer since I am addicted to the things. What we got was something I had never seen before. There were corn chips, thank goodness and lots of other interesting things on them. For starters, there were pork & beans on them. I kid you not. There was also some sweet & sour sauce, ranch, tomatoes, onions & weird tasting chicken. I could not even eat it and just looked at it laughing as Chad dug in. It was really quite nasty. I am at a loss as to which country it belongs to, the south or Japan. The Japanese love mayo. They put it on their pizza here and a hot dog is revered! They put them on pizza & salads, everything. We ended up going to see the movie Street Fighter, you know me & my fighting movies; love them. It was a good show!! HOORAH for date nights!!
