This past Wednesday we got a phone call to meet with the District/Stake President. They are re-doing our Branch Presidency/Bishopric since our current one is deploying for 6 months. We will miss him tremendously. We were thinking Chad would be called as one of the counselors since that is what he has been in the past. No pressure kind of interview. Ummm, no such luck. We were completely floored when they told us that his name had been approved for Branch President/Bishop. He was sustained on Sunday and we are completely humbled by this calling. I know he will do a great job. He is an awesome man.

I just read this! Sorry, I am behind on reading your blog. For some reason I don't receive notifications when you update it. I didn't see any mention of this on FB. I must have missed it there too.

Love you guys and I will keep you in my prayers with the surgeries!
I'm WAY behind! So... congrats! And btw, who was your previous bp? I thought it was Justin, but perhaps that wasn't right. Hmmm...
