Sawyer turned 8 on the 6Th of September. He is so happy he is 8, but mad that he can't pass the Sacrament with his brother. He is devastated he has to wait 4 years to do that. Here are some pictures from his b-day.
Sawyer insisted on helping me decorate his cake. He used the entire bottle of sprinkles on his cake!
Make a wish. He said he could not tell us his wish or it would not come true.
Halo, of course. Notice the fancy wrapping?? I suck as a parent. I never wrap their presents. Ever. Wait, I do at Christmas.
Sawyer has been asking for these "knives" since we first got here. Don't worry Grandparents, they are not sharp. He has slept with them or with them in the general vicinity of his bed since he got them.

I'm with you on wrapping presents. They're lucky if they get some newspaper wrapped around them. And, what an amazing thing to be baptized in the ocean!
