Finally, I got off my bruised bum & posted some pix of the house. I just have down stairs almost done, so upstairs will have to wait. Amy, I hope that is OK. Grin. Here you go!!
This is the boys "shower room". The tub is huge & the shower can point either in the tub or on the "floor" part. Tanner usually just stands on the floor part so he doesn't have to deal with the tub. That little "seat thingy" is for your feet or to put a baby on to wash. Crazy right?
This is our dishwasher. I still haven't used it. I have been the dishwasher, but I don't mind. Isn't it huge? I mean, I might be able to fit all of three plate in here eh??
This is my Japanese oven. It is called a fish oven & it is basically a broiler. I just got my American stove, hail American appliances, on Wed. Buh bye fish oven. I do use the range more on this one since it is kerosene & cheaper.
This is our living room. Thanks for the clock Ames. LOVE IT!!!
The dining room. In between the Hutch & bookshelf, you can see what is called Shogi windows. We have three in the front living area. We love them. They are paper & of course we already have a patched one, but they make us feel more Japanese. Doi! I know you are singing the song "I think I'm turning Japanese" right now, so I will leave you with that!!

It looks awesome! I love all of your pictures! How much of your furniture were you able to take with you? I didn't see your entertainment center thingy, and did you get new couches? I love them! I really miss you !
Nice house. The shower room looks so cool. It was so fun to finally hear from you guys. We miss you.
I love the wall behind the TV. And I can't believe that was our old bookshelf. You did such a great job on it! Glad you hung the TV - I bet the boys are lovin' playing their games on it!! And I see grandma's picture!!!! Perfect place for it, yes?! Is that the carpet you broght from ND? Do I have enough questions? Maybe I'll just call you! ;)
When I lived in Japan (as a baby) my older sister (about 18 months) poked a finger through the rice paper window. Of course I remember that!
BEAUTIFUL!! Can we come stay? I would love to visit. I seriously want that shower, how nice would that be to bathe a baby on that. The Japanese are so smart. (My mom always says that to my dad since she's full Japanese and dad is American.)
