Tanner had his first Boy Scout overnight camp out this weekend. I had to take deep breaths because usually Chad or I is always with him on these things. He told me he would be fine & not to worry. Funny how my 11 year old is "talking me down" now!! Yikes. Anywho, he had a blast pelting the leaders in an ambush of flying apples, beating the Camp record of the fastest fire started, (the fire had to reach a rope that was 2 feet high as well) being cold at night and runny eggs in the morning. He told me "They didn't even have any salt. That was the worst part!" Is he my son or what??

That is a big step, both of them, him going camping without you guys and him giving you the relax mom talk.
